Dr. Puffer is a sought-after presenter
and lecturer, and has authored a number of articles.
She is a CFA charterholder, holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Applied
Statistics and a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the University
of Rochester, and has an M.A. and B.A. in Economics from the
University of Toronto.
Marlenes commitment to the community is evidenced by her past and current service on the Advisory Board of the Canadian Investment Review, the Fixed Income, Education, and Awards Committees of the Toronto CFA Society, the Deans Advisory Board of Arts and Science, the Audit committee and other boards at the University of Toronto, as a past President of Women in Capital Markets, and on the Finance and Pension committees at Havergal College. She is also an active volunteer in childrens activities, such as coaching North Toronto Baseball.
