Advising an investor on the Pan-Canadian Investors' Committee regarding restructuring Canada's ABCP market.  Key documents on the restructuring can be found here.

Key expert witness and litigation support for BCE and their partners vs. bondholders in the context of Canada's largest ever Leveraged Buyout transaction.  The case was decided in favour of BCE, but is currently subject to appeal.  A Globe and Mail article regarding the testimony can be found here.

Global corporate fixed iincome investment strategy for large investment management firm, including systems, risk management, and transactions cost study.

Expert witness and litigation support for bondholders represented by McCarthy Tetreault determining damages due to bond redemption in breech of covenants. The damages were assessed according to the bondholders claim, but are subject to appeal. The reasons for judgement may be found here.

Evaluation of the Canada Mortgage Bond Program for CMHC. Part of a large team of consultants evaluating the CMB program, with a focus on Canada's residential mortgage market, with an update given market developments since August, 2007.  Report will be made public soon. Twist Financial team included Prof. Paul Halpern and Prof. Alexandra Mackay, from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Other consultants on the project included ALM Model Metrics, KPMG, Dr. M ichael Lea.

Marketing for Standard and Poor's to promote adoption of the S&P/TSX Canadian Bond Index by institutional investors and consultants.
